Miami Heat's Dwayne Wade has turned himself into a superstar by dominating the Dallas Mavericks in the 2006 NBA finals. Then Baron Davis made one terrific play after another while blistering the Mavericks in the first round of last year’s playoffs. The fast and speedy third-year point guard is scoring 33.5 points per game and setting up his teammates for nearly as many, averaging 13.5 assists.

Gordon Leaving Indiana for NBA
Monday, April 07, 2008 at 05:57 PM | Read More
Indiana freshman Eric Gordon is entering the NBA draft.
While he has not yet signed with an agent, his father, Eric Gordon Sr., said he intended to sign with one, which would officially end his college eligibility. The move was expected long before Gordon made the announcement Monday. When he joined the Hoosiers, many people predicted the 6-foot-4 guard with the nifty moves and NBA 3-point range would go straight to the league after one college season. He’s projected as a top-10 pick in the June draft.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Seattle Supersonics and the Chicago Bulls certainly went for the drama this year, waiting until the 11th hour to sign an 11-player blockbuster deal that just beat yesterday’s NBA trade deadline. Looks like NBA superstar, LeBron James, is getting a slew of new teammates to try to help him win his first NBA title. The trade is the third largest in NBA history, and breaks down like this: the Cavaliers get the Bulls’ center Ben Wallace, Wally Szczerbiak from the Sonics, Delonte West from Seattle, Chicago’s Joe Smith, and a second-round draft pick from the Bulls. Shaq Ridiculed by Old Coach
Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 12:57 PM | Read More
Shaquille O’Neal, who has gotten all kinds of flack for taking his 7-foot-1, 325-pound, 35-year old frame and planning it on he Phoenix Suns’ court, has thus far been able to laugh it all off. He’s go the attitude of a champion—a can-do, infectious positive outlook that may be the key to his success. But he wasn’t laughing when the Los Angeles Lakers’ Phil Jackson, who was Shaq’s former coach, sad that all Shaq could do for the Suns would be “"taking the ball out of bounds and waiting for the other team to get back."
