Lamar Odom had a sleepless night after the Lakers’ Game 3 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. Pau Gasol said it’s always hard to get shut eye after a tough loss and Derek Fisher said he slept “decent enough.” Los Angeles coach Phil Jackson wasn’t surprised.

When he joined the Hoosiers, many people predicted the 6-foot-4 guard with the nifty moves and NBA 3-point range would go straight to the league after one college season. He’s projected as a top-10 pick in the June draft.

Both Kidd and Cassell are part of a fraternity of older players that are painfully aware of the dwindling amount of time they have to win a ring.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Seattle Supersonics and the Chicago Bulls certainly went for the drama this year, waiting until the 11th hour to sign an 11-player blockbuster deal that just beat yesterday’s NBA trade deadline. Looks like NBA superstar, LeBron James, is getting a slew of new teammates to try to help him win his first NBA title. The trade is the third largest in NBA history, and breaks down like this: the Cavaliers get the Bulls’ center Ben Wallace, Wally Szczerbiak from the Sonics, Delonte West from Seattle, Chicago’s Joe Smith, and a second-round draft pick from the Bulls.
